I am currently writing a Daily Prayer during the season of Lent. These are based on readings from the Gospel of John. Between April and July 2024 I wrote a series of collects based on the Gospel of Luke.
Personally, I use the collects as a way into a time of silent prayer each morning. By sharing the prayer I hope that others may also find it a helpful way to pray and spend time reflecting on their journey of faith and relationship with Christ. I also tried to find art work to accompany each prayer.
The multi-coloured ‘cross’ that is the image for the Daily Prayer site is a detail from a card made for me by my daughter! The blue swirl which accompanies my name is a detail from a painting by another daughter!
