Luke 18: 31-43 "The Blind Beggar"
A prayer, in the form of a collect, based on a bible reading for today
A collect based on Luke 18: 31-43
Jesus, who listened, stopped, and had pity on those in need.
You knew that the man’s persistent cries revealed a vulnerable and raw faith that required a response.
When we keep on walking and seek to silence the voices of the oppressed, ignoring those who are mocked and cruelly treated,
We miss the possibility of bringing healing and seeing you more clearly.
Lord have mercy, Amen.
