Lent 2025 Day 35 "Do this in remembrance of me"

Luke 22: 14-23

Christ, who gives all that He is so we might become all that we are.

You Bless the bread and wine for each one of us, without exclusion or judgement.

Break open our hardened hearts that close against those who fail and disappoint us.

Give us your spirit of generosity that reveals the Kingdom of God in each moment.

Amen.

[I must apologise that today’s prayer is not a new one. It is one that I wrote in July last year. As Holy Week approaches I have been a bit pressed for time and decided to reuse it. I have not been able to carry the passage of scripture through a period of silence and then for a ‘walk’ on this Palm Sunday so I trust you will not be too disappointed with the lack of originality.
