John 11: 45-57 “The plot to kill Jesus”

Christ, who performed many signs.

Those with power and privilege feared you walking freely amongst the people; bringing hope to the exiled, showering compassion on all nations. You threatened to turn the established patterns of life upside down, making the first last and the last first.

On this new day may our hearts be open to where your Gospel leads us. Prepare us for a transformation of the sacred and secular places in which we dwell and find security.

For you are the living word and we desire for you to remain here with us, joining us at the festival, uniting us together, into one people.
