John 11: 17-27 “Jesus the resurrection and the life”

Christ, the resurrection and the life.

In the midst of her loss, Martha came to you and trusted that, despite four days of grieving, still you were a source of healing and life.

Give us, we pray, the faith of Martha, the faith of the disciples, to know that always, at any stage of our difficulties, you will arrive, be present, bringing hope amidst our hopelessness.

For everyone who lives and believes in you will never die, and living Christ, may this become true for us this new day.
